FAQ’s

  • Can I still take a Paddle Yoga class if I’ve never tried yoga or Stand-Up-Paddling?
Definitely! Our classes are designed for students of all experience levels, even the “never-evers”. Each class will begin with a short period of safety/basic paddle instruction. Once you have your feet planted atop one of our yoga boards, your learning curve will be steep.
  • What should I bring?
We recommend that you bring SUNSCREEN, a towel, a bottle of water, and perhaps a change of clothes in case you decide to take a dip in the ocean. Your paddle board, paddle and anchor ARE included in the price of the Paddle Yoga class. If you want to bring your own paddle board, the price of your class is reduced to $22.
  • What if the weather is bad?
If we don’t feel that your class will be fun or safe, we will cancel the session. A rain check will be issued for all students.
  • What should I wear?
Yoga attire or swim suits are best, but anything comfortable. The water temperature is almost as warm as the Hawaiian air, so there is no need for a wet suit. Just be sure to wear something that you don’t mind getting wet.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
Class cancellation must be made 12 hours prior to scheduled time to avoid being charged for the session. If there are last minute emergencies, please notify us at 808-364-7095 or yogakaihawaii@gmail.com.
